活躍する日本の女性アーティストたち

クイーンズランド州立美術館 / 近代美術館、アジア現代美術キュレーター
本講演では、日本から参加したアーティスト、特に女性アーティストを通して、
オーストラリアの「アジア・パシフィック・トリエンナーレ」の歴史を探ります。
また、これらのアーティストの作品を紹介しながら、表現、国籍、ジェンダーに対する
考え方の変化が、どのようにキュレーターのプロセスに反映されたかを検証します。

Open Lecture: Women Artists from Japan in the Asia Pacific Triennial Australia
Speaker: Reuben KEEHAN, Curator, Contemporary Asian Art, Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art, Australia
This lecture explores the history of Australia’s Asia Pacific Triennial through the participation of artists from Japan, with a particular focus on women artists. Profiling the work of these artists, the lecture will also examine how shifts in attitudes toward representation, nationality and gender inform the curatorial process.
